TRENCH OFFENSIVE ERRATA 1.0

Designer notes: When creating a game, even over many years, it can be hard to control all the different elements and sometimes, the book is printed with stuff missing.

Pg 4: (Replace) A playing surface should be large enough to allow for movement and small enough to force combat at corners and in rooms. 13” x 33” is big enough for most raids with three miniatures on each side. However, the player can use bigger or small sizes of boards to suit the game-play and the environment. 2-foot x 6-foot is seen as standard size for Trench Offensive.

Pg 10: Short Range & Long Range - (Awareness) When in combat, attacks made at short range have "with advantage". While attacks made at Long Range have "with disadvantage". Play-tests show it is nearly impossible to hit "with disadvantage" it is still possible.

Pg 16: Difficult terrain - (Awareness) all terrain is difficult and is considered normal.

Pg 18: Jumping in from a charge - (Add) at anytime in the movement phase the miniature can elect to enter or leave the trench. There is no penalty to movement for entering the trench. When a miniature tries to leave the trench. The miniature will lose 2” off their movement. If there is a ramp or ladder, there is no penalty to movement.

Pg 24: Morale Phase - (Awareness) When the game references “seeing combat”, this means the unit has Line of Sight when a unit on their team is killed. This doesn’t apply to units controlled by another player.

Pg 37: Raid #6 - (add) The objectives should be placed around key locations on the playing surface. Don’t place less than 12” from an attacking miniature. Break objectives by holding in the movement phase for one turn, with no shooting or melee.

Pg 38: Raid #7 - (add) the national hero’s starting location is located the furthest point away from all other miniatures on the board. Typically, in the centre.

Pg 39: Raid #8 - (add) for each miniature on the attacking team, place an objective down plus three extra objectives. Don’t place less than 12” from an attacking miniature.

Pg 55: Inexperienced Keyword - (Replace) The keyword is placed on stat blocks of leaders or troops, new to the front. The miniature with this keyword, can’t move and shoot.
